Welcome to the tumultuous adventures of Paris' famed bohemians.
The winter is unkind to the bohemians holed up together in a drafty Parisian garrett. The writer, Rodolfo, has been reduced to burning the fruits of his labors in the greedy stove, torching plays and poems to warm shivering bodies. The poor, young dreamers celebrate the small success of the violinist Schaunard, who has managed to con an English gentleman out of enough money for cigars, firewood, food, and most importantly, wine. The drunken revelers soon move to the street, leaving Rodolfo alone in the garrett.
Little does Rodolfo know, he is about to meet the love of his life.
